I don't see any reason the crows wouldn't eat the baby chipmunks. My dad made me come out and help him get a fledgling blue jay from a crow not long ago. The adult jays came to take care of the baby once we felt the crows were gone to stay and went back inside.

Okay, this other guy is not the real thing. I happen to know that ';Undeniable'; the Album, was a preview forthe songs that will be in the squeakquel. Acceptance is one that's obvious to me, and Time warp is one Ross Jr. want's in there, so he said he'll try to get it in. I'm also thinking Shake your groove thing, Alvin's Harmonica (hopefuly a remix ^^) and Girls of Rock and roll. So yeah, a pretty good list is already forming. ^^Alvin and the chipmunks question plz answer this?

What happens is that, when they re-record the final product, the tape is speeded up and re-recorded at a faster rate. If you listen closely to the endings of most chipmunk song, you can feel the speed jump.How do you play alvin and the chipmunks?

The answer is that you need to have a voice modulator to raise the pitch of your voice.
We used to do chipmunk voices the AV club at school with a two speed tape recorder. Record your voice at slow speed and lowering your voice and talking very slowly drawing out all the syllables and sounds. you put paprika on the bulbs before planting it..after covering it you sprinkle some in the area...then you put chicken wire over it until it starts growing...also if the animals still eating it you get some moth balls and crush them up and sprinkle it in the whole area...good luck..How do I plant Crocus bulbs so that the chipmunks and squirrels don't dig them up or eat the greens?

Any flowers that chipmunks won't eat?
My grandma wants to put flowers on and aroud her patio,but there is a problem with chipmunks.They sit in the flower boxes,and munch on whatever flowers or plants she has out there.Does anybody know of any plants or flowers that they won't eat?

This may sound ridiculous, but last month we had several little chipmunks that we would feed peanuts, and got a kick out of their behavior.
However, it seems like they have literally disappeared. What is the explanation? Do they ';move on,'; or are they hunted by other animals? I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Please offer any information that you may have. Thanks so much.What happened to our chipmunks?
Hello Mia Not ridiculous at all. I hand raised a baby squirrel and enjoyed her company for 5 years after I released her into the tree in my front yard. Even her family came to me. But the more familiar they became to my front yard, the smarter the neighbors cats became and I actually had to intervene with super soakers full of soapy water. Got any cats in the neighborhood? Just thought I'd share my experience because until I actually saw it happen it never even occurred to me that it could.

shes young and i found her when my cats were bullying her and shes scared and her legs broken and i dont want her to die and i dont want to take her anywhere kuz there gonna kill her and i feel like i need to take car of her because there my cats and its my fault shes so pitiful. She has all her fur but she looks young still. All she has eaten is a bit of water that i gave her through an eye dropper. She latched on. Should i give her milk or something??/?? shes scared and she keeps roleing around the shoe box with a soft scarf i put in there. WHAT CAN I DO TO SAVE HER LIFE??? Take a shoebox, or something comfortable, and put padding or something inside to make it soft.
Take a Tensor Wrap or something of the sort, and cut it into a thin strip.
Wrap Suzie's leg (GENTLY!) with the strip to keep it in place. Do not use a clip, just tie it, because she'll shew on the clip and that could result in injury.
Set a little bowl of water close to her face, and give her some soft foods to eat. I advise you to use the eye dropper to give her a little bit of milk every day, to help her heal.
Do not make any sudden movements when she can see you, and is she gets figity, gently soothe her by stroking the top of her head.
And lastly, if you don't have money to talk her to the vet, you should at least call a vetrinarian.Can i save her?? Please im desperate!!! anybody know how to take care of a 3-4 month old chipmunk?

call your local vet right away %26amp; ask them t o recommend a local rehab expert for chipmunks.they have the experience to care for them. every one i have used in my area have come to my house to pick them up %26amp; do not charge for the service.the best part is after their rehab they are introduced back into the wild where they belong.
If you can't take it to the vet, the best thing you can do is place a lid on the shoe box (make sure it is well ventilated) and put her somewhere quite for a while where your cats cannot get to her. Not only is she injured, but is most likely in shock as well.

How do you make a video where you sound like a chipmunk?
Okay i just bought a flip video camera and i've been making videos now i want to know how to change my voice on the video to sound like a chipmunk. I've seen a lot of people on youtube do it. I have audacity but it only works for audio ....an example of what im wanting to do is on youtube just type in 3seaturtlemagic on the search bar and click on don't judge me...i don't know how to make my voice sound like that and i know it's not that hard to do please help meHow do you make a video where you sound like a chipmunk?

shes young and i found her when my cats were bullying her and shes scared and her legs broken and i dont want her to die and i dont want to take her anywhere kuz there gonna kill her and i feel like i need to take car of her because there my cats and its my fault shes so pitiful. She has all her fur but she looks young still. All she has eaten is a bit of water that i gave her through an eye dropper. She latched on. Should i give her milk or something??/?? shes scared and she keeps roleing around the shoe box with a soft scarf i put in there. WHAT CAN I DO TO SAVE HER LIFE??? If she looks young, I advise you not to give her hard foods, for her teeth could chip.
Take a shoebox, or something comfortable, and put padding or something inside to make it soft.
Take a Tensor Wrap or something of the sort, and cut it into a thin strip.
Wrap Suzie's leg (GENTLY!) with the strip to keep it in place. Do not use a clip, just tie it, because she'll shew on the clip and that could result in injury.
Set a little bowl of water close to her face, and give her some soft foods to eat. I advise you to use the eye dropper to give her a little bit of milk every day, to help her heal.
Do not make any sudden movements when she can see you, and is she gets figity, gently soothe her by stroking the top of her head.
And lastly, if you don't have money to talk her to the vet, you should at least call a vetrinarian.Can i save her?? Please im desperate!!! anybody know how to take care of a 3-4 month old chipmunk?

call your local vet right away %26amp; ask them t o recommend a local rehab expert for chipmunks.they have the experience to care for them. every one i have used in my area have come to my house to pick them up %26amp; do not charge for the service.the best part is after their rehab they are introduced back into the wild where they belong.
If you can't take it to the vet, the best thing you can do is place a lid on the shoe box (make sure it is well ventilated) and put her somewhere quite for a while where your cats cannot get to her. Not only is she injured, but is most likely in shock as well.

I know neither can live with mice or hamsters because neither protect their territory so could they live together if neither species fight.

We have two chipmunks, they live in an outdoor aviary, but now it's getting colder and we need a shed.?
We cannot take chipmunks in the house because there is not enough space for them.
We decided to build the shed ourselves but have no idea how it should look like and how warm it must be, for example, if we build a big wooden box and connect it to the aviary, wouldn't it be too cold?

If you can build a box about 4ft high 3ft wide 2ft deep,line it with loft insulation,cover this with a sheet of weather board the same size as the internal measurements that will do inside,On the outside you will need a good mineral felt to waterproof it,attach this to the upper of your aviary and this would be the accommodation you will need plenty of Hay not straw for beding ,inside the box make another about 1ft square this will be their sleeping quarters remember Chipmunks do go into short hibernation so they will still require food,if you have a Electrical supply try and run a small
Infra red Bulb but make sure that the wireing is run through a protective pipe ie piece of copper tubing will do and your lamp also has a wire cage over it to prevent any missaps,this will provide them with a little heat if it gets too cold.
I hope you can get the Idea from all of this.

I am thinking of setting up televised animal fights with betting attached to it. I have secured Ladbrookes as a sponsor and am trying to size up suitable opponents. Dudley Zoo are offering some of their less useful animals.
What would you be interested in seeing fight? Before you mention it, I am not considering getting in the ring / pit / pool myself, meerly profiteering from the animals.
In the above example please bear in mind that one of the penguins has a sharpened beak especially for the fight and another is distracted at the moment with personal problems. Will that influence the outcome?

Why does my ipod make the songs sound like chipmunks are singing it?

Is there a humane way to get a chipmunk out of my house?
There is a new resident in my house. We originally thought it was a mouse that was getting into our pantry and tearing into all of our food packages. However, today I got a good look at the critter. It is an adult chipmunk. I have no idea how it got in but it appears to be very happy with its new living arrangements. So, is there a way to get it out without killing it? I don't want to cause it any harm but I can't afford to let it keep eating all the food in my pantry. I know there are humane traps for mice that just contains them until you can relocate them. Are there chipmunk size traps like that? To be very clear, I refuse to kill or poison it so please don't leave such suggestions. Yes, they make ';Have a Heart'; traps in large sizes to catch larger rodents such as rats, chipmunks and squirrels. Several years we had a flying squirrel in our house and caught it with a Have a Heart trap.

I'm not sure if they'd work with chipmunks but you could try it...
its like a cube and you put food in it and theres a one way door so when the chipmunk or mouse goes in it it cant get back out and theres little air holes in it too....

Call your local animal shelter or something along those lines
and specify that you don't want it killed or hut.

i praise u for not wishin to bring harm to one of God's wonderful creatures but im not really sure im pretty sure though that those traps could work or u could come up with a trap of ur own like on old cartoons when u had a box and lifted it up with a stick and then underneath it put a peice of food and tie a string around the stick and when the chipmunk gets underneath pull the string and there u go, might i suggest puttin a board underneath the box,stick, and food that way it is easier to get the chipmunk...

I second the trapping and relocating method. Chipmunks are cute, but they can be very destructive. We had the same problem and we relocated ours to a woods at a nearby reservoir where they can't do any more harm to out landscaping. We used oatmeal in our traps.
Another suggestion is to use fox urine from a hunting supply store on the areas where they are a problem. Fox are the natural predator of chipmunks and if the chipmunk think there are fox in the area, they will clear out. We didn't use the fox urine method because we also have bunnies and no garden for them to destroy, so I didn't want to care away the rabbits.
Also, to the person a few answers up; chipmunks aren't toxic to dogs, but if you were trying to poison them, that could be:)Is there a safe, nontoxic way to get rid of a chipmunk that won't hurt my dog?

Poor wildlife creatures are forced to move closer and closer to humans because humans have put highrise apartments and shopping malls right smack where they used to live.

But here is a way to encourage your chipmunk to move to an area away from your plants - hang a birdfeeder somewhere completely removed from the area where those plants are. Fill it with black oil sunflower seeds.
Not only will you get lots of beautiful, fun-to-look-at, singing companinsions to visit you, but the spillover of seeds will draw the chipmunk over there.
They LOVE the seeds.
P.S. I have several chipmunk families which have been visiting my feeders for over a decade at the place I'm living now. I adore them -- I sometimes have a little chat with them on Saturday mornings while having my coffee on the deck.
a rather large rat snake could take care of it....
I have chipmunks and have yet to see one lift a plant by tunneling.... that is usually the moles.... and voles..... don't blame the chippies!..
you can trap them and take them to the woods.is what we did. we used pea nuts in the trap.
We don't have chipmunks here,but you learn something every day,I didn't know they were toxic to dogs.Thank you.

this is for science, due on friday, october 30. i have to make a 3D chipmunk habitat out of a shoebox (no drawings, just clay, food, natural stuff, etc. only!) it has to have the biotic and abiotic factors, the habitat, what it eats, and what eats it included. i already have:

i already searched this, but it didnt give me the awnser. I tried wat alot of people said about audacity, but my flip videos cant be transpotred to audacity. I tried goldwave and it did transport, but i cant transported bak to Windows Movie Maker, or copy and paste it there. I was born with chubby cheeks, I've had them all of my life, and I'm absolutely sick of the sight of them now. My face would look so much more proportioned if I could do something about them. Does anyone have any make-up tips to create a slimmer face? Or are there any facial exercises I can do? Maybe someone can recommend a hairstyle to suit my face:

I also have chipmunk cheeks, A few things you can do.
Use a bronzer with an angled brush, and gently stroke down on the apple of your cheek (above your ear) Now to much though.
Also adding height to the crown of your hair makes your cheeks looks slimmer.

to tell you the truth, i dont think any natural process is going to change the structure of your face...if it was that easy i think we both would have known about it by now ;)
by the way, i think your face structure is very much an alluring part of your look! don't worry about it, be confident in what you have.
I actually think that you have a very good looking face structure.... but if it bothers you, I would say that a layered cut with the highest layers being below your cheeks, around your jaw line would we a good hair cut to give it less prominence.
Forget the cheeks, your hot! Work on self-esteem.
Lose about 10 pounds. They'll go away.

I am trying to care for an orphaned chipmunk-all fur,eyes open,slow enough to catch-what do I do?
Our cat killed the mother- we've seen 2 adolecents, one of which was smaller than the other. I had an old cage from H.S., that I put the smaller one in, as we could not find the other. Eyes are open, has fur, is mobile, but slow enough that I could catch it. I was affraid that our cat would kill it, so I put grass in the cage and crushed up some walnuts and put water in the feeder. He fits in the palm of my hand. I don't want to keep him, but I also do not want my cat killing it either. I just want it to get big enough to make it on it's own....yet I am affraid that it will become dependant on my care and not be affraid of us, thus lessening it's chances of survival outside( and with our fat killer cat roaming around!) Will the vet be the best choice (that is if they even take it!) Would a pet shop take it? Look in the yellow pages or do an online search for a Wildlife Rehabilitator in your area. If you don't come up with anything, call a local exotics vet and ask if they have the name of one. If that turns up nothing, call your local animal shelter and ask them for the name of a local rehabilitator.
Wildlife Rehab people are well versed in caring for orphaned wildlife and then returning them to the wild.

I just found an orpaned chipmunk yesterday too! Online research says to keep it warm, use an eyedropper or oral syringe to give it pedialite rehydration liquid and to feed it use esbilac (puppy milk replacement- at most pet stores).
Do your own research by searching 'orphaned chipmunk'
Good luck! I'm afraid the one we found is going to not make it as it is younger, eyes not opened. P.S. my reasearch says you must stimulate it to have a bowel movement before and after each feeding or it's bladder will rupture and it will die.
You have to use a q tip or your wet finger and lightly rub the genetial area to get it to go #1 or #2.
most likely a vet won't take it. vets love animals, but they aren't really the type of people who will take over any animal when an owner cannot care for it--they will most likely recommend putting it down or setting it free. a pet store also probably won't because of risk of disease...plus i'm not sure if it is legal to even sell them.
you could try to take care of it as a pet, ask a vet if they can vaccinate it for rabies or whatever else it might have (i'm not really sure what wild rodents carry). go to your local library and try to check out a book on care for chipmunks/squirrels/etc (they probably require similar care). you could look online, but make sure the website is credible. a library is always the best place to go to find credible info easily! if it becomes dependent on you, it won't be able to survive in the wild, so you could keep it. but pets are fun and rewarding! only do this if you are ready to take on the responsibility.
if you prefer not to take care of it long, give it some water in a little dish (most like how it will find water in nature, versus a hamster-water-bottle) maybe a small piece of a berry or nut..nothing with spices or weird additives, try to keep ti as plain as possible! i would recommend freeing the chipmunk in a location the cat cannot get it. it will be easier for the chipmunk to be in its original area though...so maybe keep your cat away.

How do I take care of an injured chipmunk?
This morning, when my mother was leaving for work, I saw that my cat had something in its mouth. I got closer and found that it was a chipmunk. I made her spit it out and I picked it up with an old shirt. I used to have a hamster and I still have the cage, so that's what it's in right now. It's got water and plenty of room for now. The only problem there seems to be is that it has no use of its hind legs. They may be broken, or possibly just paralyzed, but I'm unsure of how to properly care for the animal. What sort of food should I give it and how do I take care of it?How do I take care of an injured chipmunk?

Call animal control and get in touch with a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Legally you can't keep it or try and care for it - only licensed individuals are allowed to care for and rehabilitate wildlife.
Chipmunks often carry diseases communicable to humans - including bubonic plaugue - so you should not handle it but turn it over to the pros.

And for some stupid reason, it is illegal to keep them, you need a license. For food, give it seeds from local plants and trees. Just so you know; the average life span of an indoor/outdoor cat is 2-3 years, but the average lifespan of an indoor cat is 14-20 years...
Anyway, back to the chipmunk...I'm not completely sure, but I thought I read something saying it's illegal to have a wild animal in your care...? Maybe that was just for birds...? I can't remember... You really need to call animal control or a wildlife organization. The chipmunk's life may depend on it...

What's a good name for a boy chipmunk band?
Well, I'm one of those people who make up little chipmunk bands. I need a name for my boys. Like, a word to put before munks.
Examples: Magicmunks, Hotmunks, etc. but those are taken.
Here's a little something about each one:
David-The shy, quiet cousin of my main band, The Saraettes. He is one of the most powerful and useful of the band, despite his quietness. He has the power to bring back any person or animal. He often avoids fighting, except fighting with his cousin Sarah, who he's loves to annoy.
Alex-The sweet, father-like figure to The Saraettes. He is a half-vampire, who will protect Sarah and any of her friends. His special talent as a vampire is Invisibility and can heal about every wound.
Nick-The shy, old vampire friend of the Oakwind (Oakwind is The Saraettes' last name.) He has been roaming the earth for 250 years. He is able to create illusions.
Ben-The mysterious, quiet and creepy vampire. Not exactly a friend of Sarah and her sisters, and they try to avoid him. His special talent is he can get certain people to trust and believe him.
