Are chipmunks better than ferrets or are ferrets better than chipmunks is?

just to buy one of them but i dont know wich one to pickAre chipmunks better than ferrets or are ferrets better than chipmunks is?
Well, they are two very different animals. One is a carnivore and one is a rodent, a diurnal rodent.

“Do chipmunks make good pets?,” yes. They’re not exactly low maintenance, though. They require a lot of attention, room, and a variety of food. As with any pet purchase, it’s best to do your research and make sure you have the time, money, and patience to provide a happy home to a new pet.

And:

Chipmunks do not make good pets for a few reasons. For one, they are fairly hard to tame and remain nippy. Another reason is that they are very fast! They also dig holes and massive underground tunnels. This is a natural behavior we would not be able to provide for them as pets.

Ferrets make good and bad pets also in that they are exotic animals and obligate carnivores with a very active metabolism. Not everyone can open their hearts and home to a ferret and make it work. They are very high maintenance and susceptible to many diseases and ailments.

They do not make good cages animals and must have about 3 hours of supervised exercise daily to maintain their physical and mental health. You must be able to delve into their minds and think like a little rug rat to understand their behavior. Those that can make that lifetime commitment and live with them. love them dearly. The flip side is the large amount of homeless ferrets that have been returned because people just cannot live with their needs and can no longer keep them.

Please do your own research on both animals and if possible, look for a shelter in your area where you can visit and see what the animal is like. Maybe even volunteer some time in the daily care. You will find the information you need to make the decision if you spend some time with both species before you make the purchase, and the shelter people will be more than happy to provide all the information they can give you. Hope this helps.
