Hope it's what you're lookin for. ^^ Oh, and this other guy is wrong... they discoverd the sped up voice effect probably when thomas edison first invented the phonograph in the 1800's. =) Infact, they sped up the voices of the voice actors thata did the... voices for the munchkins in The Wizard of Oz, which came out in the 30's. =)

man, don't you find those chipmunks annoying?? it was okay during the 60's when they first discovered that it's possible to speed up the audio to create such a fun voice, but NOW?
