Can you have a chipmunk as a pet?

If it's tame,so you can .........Can you have a chipmunk as a pet?
Probably not. Especially if it is wild. They are wild animals and they should be kept wild. I wish i could have one as pet, but it isn't fair to them. So i wouldn't get one as a pet, wild animals should be left as wild animals. Plus having an untamed animal in your house won't be a good idea. They can have rabies, fleas and other diseases, which can make you sick, so most likely you shouldnt have a chipmunk as a pet..Can you have a chipmunk as a pet?
as long as you take it to a vet to make sure it does not have any parasites or diseases. i had a friend who had a pet squirrel that she found as a baby and it grew up and was very sweet. if you continue to visit your vet and provide a proper diet for it then it should make an adorable pet.
No. Wild animals are meant to be wild animals, it will be much happier in the wild with its kind.

Plus, it is a wild animal and they can be mean. And they can carry diseases. Plus many states have laws restricting exotic pets.

It took decades for cats and dogs, and other animals to be bred and domesticated to be the pets they are today. You can't just pick a random animal and have it as your pet--thats why we have snakes eating babies, Chimps attacking neighbors, and tigers attacking their caretakers.
if you can domesticate it then yes.
