I have lost my pet chipmunk?

so, i have 3 chipmunks,.. and one has somehow escaped from the cage.. its a large bird type cage and only way to escape would be from the bottom tray which you would take out to clean.. the gap is tiny but this is the only opening....

the other 2 are happily there.. my balcony door was slightly open but its quite a big step with only a curtain to help her get up and i've seen her try before and fail..

thing is.. she looked bloated the 2 previous days and i was thinking she may be pregnant..

i've looked round my flat but can't find her anywhere..

any suggestions..

it was mainly her cheeks that seemed bloated but she did seem a bit fatter..

any help or suggestions where she may be would be good! a work mate said there like cats and when pregnant will seek out a place to give birth... but i read this is the wrong season for chipmunks to be having litters???

thanks

She probably made a dash for the outdoors, which happens to be where they belong. I've seen caged chipmunks, and the affect it has on them. Not pretty.

Please bring your remaining chipmunks to a Wildlife Rehabilitator who can condition them for release, and in the future, abstain from locking up wild animals for your amusement.I have lost my pet chipmunk?
